Today in town a fairly large sized company thats been in business for a good time caused a 7 car pile up. My father is a police officer in town and was first on scence so I have the whole story. Around 12:00 i think he said a company based out of Pompton Lakes, NJ was traveling south on Route 23 when apparently the truck they were driving which im not exactely sure the make model what not was a landscape bodied truck or box truck with a lift for the mowing equip. lost its brakes and ran off the road. The truck then hit a dodge ram pickup which i saw and boy was that truck totaled as well as 5 other vehicals, plowing them into a building which recieved no damage. The truck also took out a fire hydrant and other things along its path of destruction. Amazingly no one was seriously injured, but it was a mess. Highway was shut down for a half hour then re-opened to one lane. Took them 3 hours to clean everything up....big mess. Ill post some picture when i get some.
