I just got jacked for about $1500 by some db in a burgundy dodge caravan. A flippin minivan!
What did he steal? Handhelds?

I think it was a "she", Can't wait to hear the rest of the story.

Hell, we have no idea what was driving the thing. As it turns out, I was parked in the only blind spot there, so we saw the vehicle & their shadiness, but the cameras were too crappy to even make out the plates. We could see them come in, see the open trailer, drive by it again, then pull up to it after I walked around the corner but we couldn't see a GD person. It was more like $2k worth that they got. What was stolen included the handhelds, yes, & the trim mower, which didn't really disappoint me, I've been thinking about getting a different one anyhow.
What I missed the most *right away* was the blower.
The most irritating thing to me is that I'm pretty sure I walked right by them & never even noticed them!
Lesson learned, keep it locked.
That sucks! We need to start putting in those hunting cameras in our trailers, it'll get a good shot of those a holes! This crap happens too much! I'm sure my turn is coming but everything has some age so maybe they wont bother. lol
Someone stole my 21" mower this year back in May (I never posted about it). Same story as yours: crummy cameras. However, these guys were organized. Per the surveillance video, one guy walked into the parking lot while texting on his cell phone. He sat down on a bench about 50 feet from my rig. When I went to mow around the back, a gold sedan (all pimped with 22" rims) came flying in. Two guys with bolt cutters darted out of the vehicle, popped my trailer locks, lifted my mower, and sped off. While they were lifting the mower, the guy on the cell phone jumped in the back seat of the gold car--clearly he was the lookout scout. The whole thing happened in 17 seconds.
I feel your loss and hope you get your equipment back.
Nah, I'll never see it again. We're just hoping insurance covers some of it. That's frigging frustrating, your story. It's just infuriating - you work your ass off and some db comes along and is all, "lol, equipment" and vanishes. There's a part of me that wishes for old west laws.
For $300 or so a year I was able to insure $15k in equipment.
Part of that still exists down here. Stealing my stuff? Pop Pop Pop, dead "men" tell no tales.
