OGURA MA-GT-TROC Ive been using these clutches and get about 4 years out of one.
I was going to try one of the Xtreme clutches that says it will replace it but when I tried to install it it won't fit between the frame and the shaft. Looks like I will have to
go back to using the OGURA MA-GT-TROC model since it will fit.
Has anyone used a different PTO on these Toro Groundmaster 120 mowers its
model 30612 serial 890142.

Hope someone has info.

What does 4 years translate out to in hours, 1000, 2000 ?
Did you burnish the clutch when you installed it ?
Are you engaging at WOT or 1/2 WOT ?

Take a gander at this, might get you longer hours...

I didn't look at my hour meter when I installed it. I engage at 1/2 WOT pretty much. Hours tried to add them up to maybe around 800 hrs. and that might be a little more. Its just at my own home of 5 acres of land and don't mow all of it at once and some parts not close to the house I don't mow as much.

I check the coil of the PTO and its ohms are under one on the meter. The coil seem to go and its the same on
all the clutches I have had over the years. The mower just keeps on trucking:) Thats what I liked about my
Dads old Gravley it was all gears no PTO clutch and sit on gravely sulky just don't back to fast on one:)
