If a costumer used a consumer sealer that is water based or it was previously sealed by a contractor that used water based sealer. Can I go over top of it with my oil based sealer? Im using Black Mac!

You should already know this if your in this business!! First off there isn't oil base or water base they are petroleum or emulsion sealer. The Petroleum base soaks in, and really isn't a sealer. It don't protect asphalt from Oil and Gas. So it makes since to me that it wouldn't work on a drive previously sealed with an emulsion.

If the Acrylic was put down last year, and has weathered a winter, you will have no problems. I would not cover if it's newer than 4 months, IMHO. Hope that helps!
