I was wondering if anyone here has any knowledge of an electric pump made by Tecumseh quite a few years ago that was used for extracting oil from an engine without having to remove the drain plug. I used to work for a gentleman in South Carolina that had mounted this pump along with a 5 gallon tank on a pressure washer frame. I was wondering if this pump is still available from Tecumseh or if a complete oil bowser kit is available. I've seen many other oil extractors on the market but none of them seem as wonderful or as functional and reliable as the Tecumseh one. I have spoken with some of the Tecumseh dealers in my area and no one seems to know what I am talking about. I just need to know a Tecumseh dealer who can order one for me. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

I'm not aware of the one you're referring to, but you might check with some boat shops. I'm on the Washington coast and just about every boat dealer around has something similar to what you're referring to. Boaters World is online (boatersworld.com I think) and they carry pumps like this. I think even bass pro carries them. Good luck.

the oil vac alone is a part number 670354 and retails for about $130.00. I personally own one at my shop and love it. I bought the oil container that goes with it and use it all the time, it's very quiet and i don't know how i managed without it.
