Usually up in the northeast at this time of year the avg temperature is between 30-45 degrees. Because of this I run 5w-30 oil. Now its in the 60's. Do I need to run my normal sae30 oil, or will I be ok?

I run 10W-30 in all of my engines on mowers and blowers etc. except for snowblower. This way, I don't have to worry about changing oil grades, since it never goes below 40 degrees here during the fall. I'd say you're fine.
