I have re-built an old K-Rain distributor can with a new stem and disc and a new cam. It takes way to long to drain and switch zones. It will switch, but has a mind of its own. I sanded the inside of the can. Are there any other ideas out there to make this work. It's in a location where it would be very hard to get more wires to and re-vamp to electric valves. Thanks

It requires the time that it takes. The original controller had as much as 10-15 min. between stations. You could do it with a conventional controller but had to have at least a one-minute delay between stations. It is what it is.
