pictures of old trailer & new what do you guys think?
I have been working on new trailer and will update pics later
Which trailer is the new one? I assume the one in the garage is old one and the new one is the dovetail since your last thread was about buying the dovetail; however, the pictures are deceiving because the one in the garage looks new. I can't believe your mower deck hit on the trailer in the garage. It seems that the trailer would pitch down pulling it with that hitch on the raanger. I guess that is why it hit.
the old was 5x8 (sold) the new one is 6x14 with dovetail its now inside so i can work on it setting up for mowing
You should really invest in airbags for your ranger if you're going to be towing that trailer with it. There is so much distance between the rear axle and hitch you're going to exceeded your 250lbs tongue weight. Also, you might want to upgrade the hitch to a WDH too. Just an FYI I would add brakes to that trailer too. I do see the PS in the garage though maybe that is your work truck?
Airbags and brakes for that little trailer? That thing will pull that little trailer around just fine, granted he does completely overload it.
Should be fine granted you don't have a Z-turn or anything heavy. I had a 60" Lazer, a 36 walk behind and 22 on my 6x12 pulled my Tacoma. It hauled fine, but it had some trouble stopping in a panic situation with no brakes. The Miska 6x12 is most likely heavie than your trailer though, its a little bulky
that is the o4 f250 with less than 21,000 miles only used to pull the BIG 24' shoe box for go to a car shows or to pull the open 18' trailer for the lawn rolling .mark
I AM just going to put on it the 32' w/b 2-21 push mowers is this ok?
That should be fine then. I was assuming you have a 32 and a 60 sit down or stander. Seems like over kill for 2 21" and a 32 walk. Do you have to bag and carry all the clippings or something? Brakes are pretty easy to put on and are not very expensive. Is the ranger a supercab 3.0 2wd?
