Looking through our equipment today, we came across 3 JD trimmers that are about 5-6 years old and have bent shafts because that's what our dad prefers. We were wondering if you could take them into a dealer and have bent shafts put onto them b/c the engines are still in good shape, it's just that we can't stand bent shafts.

Probably could, but it would cost more than just buying new ones.

We have no idea what something like this would cost to do, but it's just a thought. Anyone w/ anymore ideas keep posting them.

    Who made the trimmers?

If they are by Echo, it cannot be done.
