one cylinder

    I have an old yamaha lawn tractor with an 18 hp V twin. My problem is it is only running on on cylinder. i dont think the motors shot because I have changed the oil by the book. I think it mignt be electrical, maybe the spark plug isn't getting enough spark.What do you guys recommend.

    Check compression, both cylinders should be about the same. Buy a cheap spark tester, about $10 or less, check spark. It is very possible that the coil is bad or plug wires.
