99 Dodge....has a meyer plow setup on it and the headlights are run through a changeover module.

Worked fine...just noticed one light is 90% dim.....barely working. Replacement bulb does the same. Have cleaned and played with the connections and everythings nice and clean/greased as always.

    Any ideas?

    Bad ground? Bad changeover module?

    I hate electrical problems.

I actually saw a truck going down the road the other night with the same symptom and problem...was a Ford.

More than likely a bad ground on the ground wire coming from the module.

Yeah well....update. So far I havent found any bad grounds. Im gonna swap change over mods....theres on each side. The one that the bad light runs through is a little dirty...minor last year and greased welll

But Ill swap those and see what that tells me.

Frankly Id rather spend the fifty it would cost to replace a module than fight a bad ground issue.

    Been there done that.

do you have a shop manual for the vehicle? if not, check your local library. many of them show ground loczations which will make it alot easier to find them all. good luck.
