Opinion on 1997 F350 4x4

    1997 F350 XL Crewcab LWB
    7.3L Turbo diesel (215,000 miles)
    includes spare 7.3L diesel

    runs great. Only problem leaky head gasket. (easy Fix)

    Asking $5000
    i talked him down to $3500cash

    seems cheap to me if you can fix the head gasket yourself.

    The engine should be fine... Its the E4od tranny I'd be worried about, unless its rare and has the c-6. For $3500, I snatch it up though!

    goin drive it 2morrow! original owner all highway miles.

    hopefully by 2morrow afternoon, i will have this beast to pull my trailers with.

    Its kinda funny im seeing more diesel trucks going much cheaper than they a where year ago

    Well with diesel at 4 1/2 a gallon it is kinda a easy to figure out why. Its not near as cool when you have to fill it up with fuel.

    Transfer cases were another source for potential headache. at $3500 that would be a good buy.

    I would buy it an the trailer would never come off it again....
