Opinions: What is the problem with these brick pavers?

    Recently added power washing to our lineup. At one site a customer wants to know if power washing will fix this.

    power washing will certainly clean up the blocks and most likely you won't see those light areas until the blocks are soiled again. Outdoor bleach may kill whatever fungus is causing the light colors.

    That is stamped concrete, and it happens to be spalling. Most likely due to de-icer's attacking it in winter, but it can be a multitude of other issues. No easy repair unfortunately.

    does it have a sealer on the concrete??? it might be coming off

    Hard to diagnose on a photo.

    But..... looks like sealer is flaking away. Use some xylene and high pressure water blaster to strip and re seal with your choice of sealer.

    Not sure where your from but it looks like salt or de-icer damage to me.
