Anything that ya'll know that will take it out of Fescue without hurting fescue? A project!!
That is a great picture to show how unsightly it is. I am having the same problem at my personal house. I can't get rid of it. I have asked on here and out in the field and everyone says the same thing. The only to get rid of it is to round it up completely and start over. Round it up in September and seed in October. I know it is Fescue but scalp it down before you seed to get old stuff out. Let me know if you find a better method.
This yard was killed out and reseeded and this crap was in the fescue seed. Per the LC company that did it. I told the customer when she has time, pull the light green stuff!
Hard to tell from that distance but, I have the same stuff on a couple of lawns. If it's what i have it's a non turf type Fescue and yes there is no selective control.
