Been planting pansies for years on all my commercial jobs, but have never really been able to treat with liquid consistently. What are some of you "southern" guys tank mixing to get jump on pansies with beautiful color and flowers all season?? My rep recommend 32-0-0 and 0-0-25 controlled release, but I'm not sure. The companies around here I see tank mix when planted and seems like a few more times over season. Any help appreciated..

Wish I could help you on your fertilizer question. I found your thread because I was just asked by a customer if I knew where she could purchase Pansies for her flowerbeds. She sees them in the medians & would love to have them. Got me thinking of what it might take to start offering delivery/install service. Could you please spare a moment to shed some light on the resource angle of it like how did you find your supplier & can it be more of a pain?
    Thanks so much- Adam

I use a granular slow release fertilizer. Won't say the ratios however. Keeps them blooming large flowers and their shape stays compact. Too much nitrogen and it will take away from their form. They will get leggy. Also we pinch the old blooms off every 2 weeks.
