About a month ago I bought a rental 1988 Parker Dethatcher from my local hardware store, they didn't want to replace the tines again and this unit was old enough for them to replace it. W/ a b&S engine, I got it back to the shop, cleaned it, changed oil and plug.. and it runs great. I lowered the wheels and have used it on a dozen or so properties, it did great. The new tines showed up yesterday and don't look exactly like the original. Tine length and spring bore appear to match but the end of the tines have an extension approx. a 1/3 in length which the original tines don't have at all. Don't know it the supplier for these Parker tines has tines w/out the ear on the end and was thinking, instead of shipping them back I could clip the ends off. Anyone here have a Parker and does this sound familiar? Thanx
