    16 y/o kid working for you mostly string trimming with a lil' mowing, how much an hour would you pay him?

    NOTHING....the possible fines from OSHA and losing my Liability and Workers Comp for employing someone under 18 yoa would be too costly.

    Isn't it a Federal law that people under the age of 18 can't run power equipment for hire?

    Of course $135K to them is scratch....

    I awlays thought that in some cases you could employ those under 18.....and do our type of work....I seem to recal something based on numberof employee's...
