paying taxes

    im just starting this year.....is it real important that i start paying taxes now? or can i get away with it untill i start making some good money?

    Personally it is always better to abide by the laws of your state. Are you working for an outside employer or just yourself? If the business is in your name only and there are no other employees, pay what taxes are required when due whether now or later and when you file yearly you should see a return. Check with your local authorities regarding business taxes, sales tax, etc.

    If you get paid in cash, do you claim it? I know you should claim it, but I dont see how they would trace it.
