Paying your LC bill online

Does anyone have their business set up to receive online payments from customers? If so, does it really help your cashflow with the convenience to the customer? I am setting up the layout for our website and wanted to know if it will be worth it for me to add online bill paying. Thanks for any input!

I have people who pay their mow service by credit card or debit card. But we are not doing it on-line, they give us the card # and we run it once a month. If I did not have this in place already I would consider setting up a Paypal merchant account for this business. Very easy to do, no cost and most people seem to know the name and are comfortable with their security.
Hello Lawn Lizard,

Do you keep track what % of your customers use the internet and have given you an email address for a contact? That would be an interesting point to consider.

If your customer base is largely retirees, it is quite possible that they may not use the internet at all.

Good observation............

Actualy, I am finding that my clientel is getting younger. Hmmmm...........or is it that I am getting older? No matter.

Actualy, regarding the retiree is. A new retiree, many are computer savy. In their 80's............forget it.

I have a website. I don't like it. Had it just thrown up for the winter season. Grabbed a plowing acct from it though. Just need to sit down with the guy and have it completed
Ooops

Pardon me.....................

I am most definitely considering accepting payment via the internet. As well as sending invoices and monthly letters.
