I am from the northeast, so the north.
Thanks for the insights. I do love the threads/forums, but I can get lost in the site for hours each day. I am looking to streamline - if possible.
Re: aligned biz owners...I am looking for diversity...not just my POV. That is how one grows their business understanding the right and wrong ways.
Re: busy - I hate that word. We all can fill our time for the sake of busy, but is that time being used productively? Those are the peeps I am trying to find. Productive, focused, driven, etc... It isn't an easy circle to find, but they are out there.
You forgot without having to read any posts.
That comment is exactly why sometimes reading through threads to get to the meat of the question can be frustrating. The messages meant to be funny, passive-aggressive, and/or nothing to do with the original request are extra fodder/wasted time. I like the interaction on here, but am trying to work with people that add value given everyone's hectic schedules in real time.
Again - if that isn't you, I am ok with that. I am looking for a small group and will always utilize LS for its vast knowledge database while adding to it.
Look into bni, it's a group of like minded business people. They usually meet once a week.
Great. I just reached out to my local chapter. Appreciate the insights.
Give it some time to see who on lawnsite is a good fit for your network
were always a little skeptical of marketing peoples agenda some join ls to try and market to the members

If I can be of any help just ask or pm me
Like pulling teeth...sheesh. Thank you Hort101 for the offer and I will do.
Join your local chamber of commerce. Not only do you get to indulge in various biz meetings, it’s also a great marketing, educational, and networking avenue.
good suggestion SCORE is another resource
