Pendimethalin first...Dithiopyr second?

    Any thoughts on having used Pre-M (pendimethalin) for first app in early March and using Momentum (dithiopyr) for second app in late April/early May? Would I be asking for trouble?

    You are on the right track!

    Add Pre-m to round two at half rate to get extended control.

    Example: Round one
    1/2 lb. N @ 4lb. rate
    3-way ester spot spray winter annuals

    Round two
    1/3 lb. N
    2 lb. rate Pre-m
    Momentum @1.1 oz. rate

    That would get you season long control.
    If its too late for Pre-m use, Dimension will kill young crabgrass and prevent new seedlings.

    Um,...Dithiopyr is Dimension... If that's what you meant, then that's the way a lot of guys go around here. A nice combo.
