Here is the scope of the per tree price.........

    1> Deep root feeding ( 1 time )
    2> 2" mulch base / max. 6' dia. ring ( most are 2 - 3' ) done in spring.
3> weeding ( at time of mulch install )
    4> Trimming / pruning ( annual / check every 2 weeks )
Mostly young trees / new developments and quantity is abundant in each development.

QCM wants these bid at a per tree cost, anyone ever bid it like this ? I have a figure....just curious if Im inline with others on how it should be done

Probably about $300 per tree, if their are enough trees, time, price of supplies, etc. It all depends on how much the mulch costs, the price of the fert., and how fast your crew can effectivly prune and weed.

I don't understand the every two week check unless you are also checking for pests and disease. Do you have to provide preventative and/or remedial action against those? What about watering? Will you be doing that also? Even with an irrigation system for the turf, trees often need special watering attention when they are getting established. Seems like they have the desire for good care but maybe need help with writing a top-notch IPM and maintenance specification.
