Do any of you do turf treatments for turf which is grazed upon by horses / cattle / goats / etc.? How do you approach this situation? I know that endophyte enhanced grasses are out of the questionm and pesticides are probably out as well. What are some of your treatments?

Why and what are you intending to treat.


They are all grazing animals. Especialy the cow and goat.

I wasn't intending to treat anything. I was just curious. I had done some work at a nice horse farm a couple years back and all the paddocks were fertilized and had few if any pest problems.

Yes, I do pasture work.

Weed control is similar, the products are differnt, read the labels for pulling animlas out, look at Ally to spray with animals in the pastures.

Weed control is a must unless you are clipping regularly. Fert and lime are also key.
