Can anyone tell me what might have contributed to my soil test pH going from 7 in 2014 to 6.1 in 2019?-too much N etc? I've been following GCI and LCN annual programs of lawn care last 3-4 years. We live in the Transition Zone with TTTF grass. thanks
First thing is I'd make sure its a test at a lab, and soil samples were taken from all over the property for an apples to apples comparison. I could pick one spot in my own lawn and get 7 and another where its 5.2.
Otherwise, yes its probably the specific compounds in the fertilizer, like ammonium sulfate, if you didn't put down anything like Tiger90.
