Would you take this lawn account?

Front is what you see. Back is less than 1,000 sq ft.
Customer wants weekly service, grass cut high and bagged.
    (Pool in back.)

Would you take this account, if so what type of mower would you use, and how much would you charge?

There is no right or wrong answer.
    Just starting a conversation. :D

Im at a point where I would not take it. Reasons: Have to bag it, and would have to use my 22".

Sure I'd take it, as long as there's room to park the rig nearby. I'd use by 48 inch WB and charge $25 or $30.

I couldn't - I don't bag, the mulch kit is on. But if they were cool with the Mulch kit, I could/would.

Only thing that is a real PITA is the steps going up the hill on the left side of the picture.. Cause that slope usually is a weird angle for the mower to mow at..

I think a 36" walk behind would do fine there, or a 21/22" push with bagger. Not too much work for either mower.

$30 per cut if they would let me mulch
$40 per cut if they wanted me to haul the clippings.

So tell us, How much are you getting and what are you using Jodi?????

Looks like a nice little property. I'd be happy to take care of them for $35 per cut, which I'd probably do with the 32. I think the 48 would be a little harsh on the slopes.

No. Why should I use a 21" mower and have 2- ZTR's sitting idle on the trailer. Maybe 6 years ago I would have done taken it. But not now.

:) I agree with Bob, by looking at the pic you really can't tell whether you could even cut the slop with a 36" without scalping, and the sidewalk, both one to house and street, Might take 40 min with a 21", Maybe in my younger days but not now....Marks Mowing Service
