Guys who use pine straw mulch, can you give me an idea how much it cost and coverage with it?? We don't use pine straw mulch here in central pa. but i have a customer who lives in the mts. and would like to put pine straw down. I have no idea about price or coverage?? I figured your southern guys would have some answers for me. Thanks alot!

Pine Straw coverage is approximately 60 square feet per bale 3" - 4" in depth. I used this formula last year, the lady wants it thicker this year, it settled quite a bit, it's under a deck, fairly protected, so on a hillside, you'd better go pretty deep.
I only use it once in a while, my neighborhood Lowe's has it for 3.95. The bales are small, you'll need a bunch of them.
