I have a landscaping job that I am stumped on. The house will be landscaped in the front which faces North. There are also several large Oak trees in the front that have been topped last year. Right now the site would be what I would call Part shade. But in a few years when the oaks grow out, I believe it will be full shade.
I have all my plant material picked except that I want something with some height, probably 10-15 foot, and evergreen to go on one corner. The house is a two story and is over 100 years old, so I want something that leads the eye up to the detail of the house.
I really like Hollies so am debating on some of them as well as false cypress. Any ideas will be appreciated.
