one of my friends that has been in the business about 3 yrs told me that when they plant annuals like pansies n stuff that they just plant the pot n all. I personally had never heard of this and was wondering if anyone out there done this or should this be done. He said it saves time and you don't have to use potting soil

I have heard of this and tried it. No good......The pots need extra water to survive. If some one waters their own flowers every day then it would work.
