Looks like fun and that you were working late.
You might want to face the silt fence toward the fill as well.
no, not if the water and silt travels uphill!
We finally got all the trees and shrubs in this morning. In the pics in the dark, it was only 615pm. I sure hate its getting late early now, but the lights work well on the BC. I broke my camera this morning as well, so might be a few days before I can get more pics up.
Looks like a fun job. Congrats on the new toy. I'm hoping one day, I'll get to stop renting!
Well we are currently renting a t300 as well, but trying to keep the hours down was starting to become a pain. I think this was a smart purchase with all the landscape work we have schedule. We have already put about 30 plus hours on it. The way its looking, I think we are only going to get about 2 maybe 3 weeks off this year because of all the landscape work we have scheduled.
out of curiousity what did you pay for the t190 , we just got another one with 250 hours on it for 25k. so i am curious to see how much of a break you got?
Thanks for sharing - before and during the project pics are a lot more enjoyable than after pics to me - wondering what attachments you have for the T190 , I love that machine .....
Yeah, I have also feel in love with this machine. I will say my legs get a good workout, and we have a open cab so dust sort of traps in the cab, but all in all its a great machine. No attachments, just the bucket. We paid a little over $38k out the door because it was a demo model....brand new they wanted $42k. Machine had never touch any dirt, only ran around the dealer. I think I could have gotten them down to $37, but for a brand new machine @ $38k I though we had a pretty good deal. I am sure I could have found a better price somewhere else, but dealer support here will be unmatched. About to leave out in just a little to go and get it from the site. Funny thing is, I really dont have a place just yet to store it, some for now it goes in the garage at home lol, along with my new (but used) ditch witch.....My wife is hating me right now, but building is about 6 months from ground breaking. We have started offering to clear out more land from what the builders have originally gave them and back filling and extending lawns. This is 1 of 6 we have scheduled. My tree guys charge around $1200 to $1500 per lawn depending on how far back, height of trees, and number of trees. I add a little on to that, have trees cleared and see what is there to be worked with. Now we can increase the monthly maintenance cost because lawn has been extended, and offer to do more landscaping to filling in the space just created. With this drought, I have had to be very resourceful and this seems to be a great marketing idea. We have had a lot of interest, but many have almost choked when shown the numbers. I will get more pics up as soon as I get a new camera.
What kind of deal did you get on the mini skid?
