The homepage header looks good. And so do a few of the first sections underneath. I like the color scheme in the logo. It pops. There is also some great looking pictures. Website could have potential. I hope this was a DIY project, cause it screams refund.

Why?

Unfortunately, the rest of the homepage and other pages on the site looks more like a poorly structured blog post.

The website overall seems created for search engines...not humans. In other words, it seems too desperate for rankings, and not on selling.

Although I do like the colors, white space is easier to look at rather than a black or green background with blocks of long text. I prefer those color backgrounds to be a little transparent and use to highlight calls to action for example. Not paragraphs of text.

Speaking of paragraphs, they read too long on my cellphone for a webpage. Not sure if the aim was to create a pillar page, but too much info on webpages looses the sale.

The Social media links seem like an seo ploy as those social channels have 0 content, 0 reviews. That along with the Copyright that says 2021 could make one question: Is this site abandoned? Is this company still in business?

The service links that were mentioned in a previous comment look spammy at best. The concept of local seo is good, the execution is poor.

I Love Search Engine land. Also

Neil Patel.
Mozz.
Wordstream
Lawncare leadership...and others ..lol

I don't have a membership but sometimes lurk through Reddit when I need no-bull opinions or answers.

I guess because I create my own sites and love to blog for my businesses I must learn seo. Truth is I know one day to truly be successful I need to hire these tasks out. But for now, it's fun doing my own marketing.

Full disclaimer, I'm not in the green business......

With that being said, when I visited your website the first thing I saw is how long you've been in business, which is good. Next thing was the payment methods you accept, which I feel could be moved a little down the line...... I'd rather know the services you provide before you tell me how you want to be paid.

Next is this line..... "Additionally, we use the newest most expensive professional commercial lawn mowers available"

Imo some customers may think you're going to charge inflated prices to pay for said "expensive" equipment. I think I'd re word it to say something like "Our trained staff uses the latest in commercial lawncare equipment to ensure a quality cut, time after time."

My $.02

Edit.... you could substitute "latest in" with "state of the art"..... either way imo it comes across better that "the most expensive."

Appreciate your trick of getting click relevancy signals.
Agree with my peers here. Even though you've worked your SEO on the website, it does look like it was made for search engines.
1. The color scheme doesn't have a lot of contract which makes consuming copy on your homepage a bit difficult.
2. On top of that there is just so much text:

Wonder who would read all of it.

3. SC Outdoor Services, LLC - Your URLs do not follow the industry's best practices and don't seem so user-friendly.
4. Even if you have multiple doorway pages that are region specific - Recommend using Alternate and hreflang tags to avoid any potential penalty from Google.

hreflang tags aren't going to help in this case. They're meant to be used for duplicate content related to different countries or languages, not states or provinces within countries.

I.e. there are no sub-region hreflang tags.

Best practice is to just remove the doorway pages.

Nice work if you made it all on your own. Few low-hanging things you could look into that would make a difference in SEO and style that haven't been mentioned :

- Replace the main 'Contact Us' button with the contact form itself. Make it easier for visitors to get in touch with you. You can replace it outright with a call button.

- Disperse your services in the section where your 'Full List of Landscape Services' is. No need to click another button.

- Add testimonials and share your number of reviews(20) near the top of the page for social proof.

In general, minimize visitor friction (clicks) to increase conversions and make call-to-action (phone number/request quote) buttons on your navigation bar and service content areas easy to click.

Echoing what many have said here, it looks more for Google than visitors. A balance is good!

You have great photos. Placements could be better.

If you really want to play on Google ranking, collect more reviews! Ratings, number of reviews, and recent reviews influence your search placement. Happy to help if you need any!

It looks like you’re making some solid progress, but there are a few tweaks you might consider. First off, when I searched for "lawn mowing services in Bedford, NH," I did find your listing, but it wasn't as high as you'd want it to be. Improving your ranking could take a bit more focus on SEO—things like using more localized keywords, adding fresh content to your site regularly, and making sure your business is consistently listed across online directories.

I’d say one easy fix is making your content easier to find. Right now, it feels like you’ve got people clicking around too much. Maybe just put your main services right up front so they don’t have to dig for it.
For the Google ranking, I think you could boost it by connecting your pages better. I’ve used an internal link builder before, and it really helps tie everything together. It makes it easier for visitors to explore your site and for search engines to figure out what your site’s all about.
