I am looking to purchase software for my start-up lawn service business. I have a mac and all the programs i lookied into such as lawnpro and qxpress are not comatible with mac. Besides quickbooks is there anything else out there ?

There is Peachtree. Its not a bad program but its not as popular as Quickbooks.

First throw away the MAC. Buy a $450 laptop or a netbook for $300. For this business you will need a laptop. Always back up your data trust me.

I use Quick Books.

It is hard to go back to a PC after using a MAC....it is just a nicer product.

Here is a link to a description of how to use QXpress on your MAC--you can actually install Windows on the MAC and run Quickbooks and Qxpress out of that and still do everything you normally do as well. A long way around it but it works.

If you didn't have a MAC you wouldn't be on this forum saying software doesn't support it. Not trying to break your ballz.

If MAC's were nice they would run all software. I bet you drive a toyota and if the gas peddle sticks you would prolly deny it and say my care is "nice" Just admit it MAC's suck.
