Anybody ever grown hostas from plugs or liners? What kind of success did you get?

4" plugs into gallon cans only need a few weeks.
I always bump gallon perennial leftovers into 3 gallon cans...same time frame, more impact on my install jobs. Do most of the canning when sales slow in August and you can pick up deals.
I like a high percentage bark mix for best drainage.
plant them late summer they will establish in fall and flower winter
