Does anyone know what is the best way to cut it down?
I've got about 3 plants to cut down.
I thought about cutting it down with a Line trimmer but I do not think it would be affective, what machine should I use?
What are your thoughts about this?
Any help would greatly appreciated!
Sorry for all the questions as it is the first time I will be cutting Poison Ivy down.

I have always used loppers or shears, just be sure to wear disposable gloves and long sleeves.
Never had any problems doing it this way and I have cut a LOT of it.

I am super allergic so I spray round up lightly serveral times a week until it looks pretty well dead. Then I use loppers or shears and put in in plastic bags.

Do not cut it with a trimmer, or mow it. It will spray the oils on your skin, and you sure will not like that. In cases where you need to get it out right away without spraying it, be sure to cut it below ground level, and thereafter watch for little leaflets springing up and cut them, it will finally give up and die.
