Looks like a flashlight and a hammer.
Goal was for it to look like a flat stone chisel and a hammer.
I guess back to the drawing board
I realized it was a chisel but the company name "After Hours" might make people think "flashlight".
Keep them coming.
Here is my logo. If you lived in Texas your would recognize the Mountain Laurel flower.
ok ill do that thanks for the feedback.
The text on the bottom is hard on the eyes. Bold colors can be good but the black contrasting with the other colors is pretty harsh. In general I would not recommend that much black in a logo.
I would also ditch the font style used on the bottom. You always want to stay away from font styles that are hard to read. The font style with that black background is harsh and hard to read. There are multiple people on here that are using hard to read font styles (Old English, ect) which is a big faux pas.
I would have also used the word Landscape versus Landscaping. Landscape just has a more simple yet more professional ring to it. One of those less is more situations.
If you look at all the companies that have landscape in their name and change it to landscaping you will see it just doesn't sound nearly as good.
I appreciate the tips. Changes are in progress, ill post it here soon and let yall review it. Thanks again guys and have a Merry Christmas!!!!
Here's our logo, a work in progress. Let me know what you guys think. Hoping to have the logo design complete mid-January.
