What would be the customary valve clearance for both Intake & Exhaust valves on a 4-cycle gas trimmer ?

Another Question, Please :

Which direction would the Piston Knotch face when assembling ?

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

If you post the model and spec. #'s I'll post the valve specs., The notch on the piston on most engines points toward the coil or flywheel.

Troy Built 475 SS. I believe it is a Poulan motor but may also be a Ryobi. It is a 4 cycle Gas Trimmer.

Yeah Butch, How about .003-.006 on the intake and .013-.016 on the exhaust.
