power washer + freezing

    I keep my power washer in my enclosed trailer.........I'm assuming I need to drain it best I can or what? Don't want to bust it before it even gets broken in!

    Generac/Briggs Power Products makes a foaming oil spray stuff that you can hook to where the inlet hose would normally go and it is supposed to basically push all the water out while leaving a nice oil residue in the pump.

    Dunno how well it works, but its better than letting them freeze. We sell a few cans a year.

    Wow!..sometimes it seems like the world revovles around me!! Just had a 1600psi washer given to me yesterday,the sticker on it says permanant damage will result in water left inside it and there was lots in the hose/washer.Thanks to both of you for just allowing me to log on without having to post with my nagging !! :)
