Do those of you at eXmark (love my HP) know if adding an Enginaire pre-cleaner system will void the Kawasaki warranty?

I can't speak for Kawasaki's Warranty, but this is what I can tell you. I know that Kawasaki will not authorize the modification of their engine if it alters the emissions of the engine.

Those guys are under very strict emission laws. They can't risk endorsing a modification to the air cleaner system unless they know that it doesn't effect emissions.

This is a question that your dealer may be able to answer better than we can. They deal with Kawasaki on warranty.

    Thanks, Fred.

I've contacted the engineaire people and asked them if their filters have been epa certified for different applications. Their answer was no. They came up with excuses but the bottom line is as Fred stated, that is tampering with emissions and may or may not change the aspect of warranty.
