I was wondering if any of you bid edging by the foot . I am bidding on a good sized account and would like some info. The bed edges are there from last year but need to spruced up some. I measured 823 ft of edging. I usually bid edging buy the hour but it might make it easier for me to bid if I have an edging price per foot. Anyone use this method, I'm looking for other ways to produce a competitive bid. Thanks,

I would say about 50 cents per foot. Price it as if you are doing it by hand. I have a brown bed edger. The thing is a miracle worker, goes right through roots.

Sq. ft in the beds wont tell you the linear ft. I charge between $.70 and $1.00 per ft with my bededger.
