What do you guys charge for sod installations?
25 cents per sq. foot- I buy it for 17 cents per sq. foot.
.25/sf is kinda cheap even at .17 for sod. for small jobs try and get at least .20/sf over our cost of sod. large jobs just figure how many hours x your labor rate plus any other expenses, equipment etc. add to material cost, plus mark up and divide it by the square footage.
buying it for about $.21/sq. ft. and right now laying it at $.45 a sq. ft. for just laying it out. i know of two guys around here who do it for $.37 and one for $.35 but also theres a guy who does it for $1.25 so its weird around here
