price for spraying

    how to charge for spraying of lawns just getting in to this field not to sure on this. I have been asked to spray ten acres of ground trying to figure out what to charge.

    It's usually priced per square foot. I try to get anywhere from $4-15 per square foot. My price per square foot depends on the customer (price shopper, really maticulate, lots of corners etc etc.)

    A wide open field of 10 acres, I would price on the low side per square foot. Know your costs too. A 2.5 jug of 3-way costs about $50-$60, gives about 215,000 sqft of coverage with precision. So figure 2 jugs to cover your 10 acres.

    How about your equipment? Will it take you all day to do it? Off the top of my head...a nice number to go by....charge him $2/1000 and you're still making 6-700 profit.
