Anyone got a price idea for 19 acres of open ground and some hills to be mowed weekly. Thanks
I'd bid $475 19 acres at 25 an acre.
What type of mowers do you have?
I currently run a 2 man crew with a 61 inch grasshopper diesel and a 61 inch gravely but i will be running 2 Ferris 3100 with 60 inch decks. Also there is about 8 hours of trimming and edging around the walks, drives, curbs, signs, and other odds and ends
25 an acre seems really low??
that would go for $28 - $30 an acre around here
30-35 around here.
then just add your man hours per week for the trimming/edging on top of the total acreage price and your set.
thanks for everyones input. It is a large commercial bid and I am not sure i will be able to get it but i am going to give it a shot anyways.
Its really hard to give you an idea without seeing it. It could be as low as 600 or as high as 900 around here.
Just dont under price it. I would rather do less work and make the money on it that I should rather than try to be the largest volume guy around.
