    please quote me a price, ill gladly tell my bid, just curious to see what u guys bid: 4.5 ton pink stone, deliverd and dropped by nursery then we will wheelbarrow into beds about 25 ft. away. 6.5 yds mulch, picked up and delivered by us, then put in beds about 25 feet from truck. minor prep work about 1.5 hrs worth. work will be done by 2 men, using shovels and wheelbarrows. no pre-em or weed barrier. thanks

    I have no idea what you pay for stone but my cost is about $20/ton so stone cost retail=$200 plus labour +- $300 so total around $500. However I am puzzled on having no weed barrier. If you put that stone on top of soil it will make a horrendous mess when weeds come through.

    Here goes
    Stone = 300 labor 2x 6-8 hrs = 480 mulch = 250 total= 1030

    and you should clear 400.00 or so after payouts
