A potential new customer of mine has years of yard debris she wants taken to the landfill. The distance between her house and the landfill is 12 miles with a driving time of 20 minutes according Yahoo maps. I will have to rent a dump trailer and I will already have a dingo onsite for dirt piles she wants moved. I was thinking maybe charging her $15 per load. Do you think thats anywhere near what the going rate is for yard debris removal. I have no idea home many loads it will take, maybe 5 or 6 with a 7 x 14 dump trailer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We get $105.00 per dump truck, $80.00 per full pick-up bed.

I would at a minimum charge her for the trailer rental, your normal houly rate + the dump fees........

There are no dump fees. The rental will be $35 per day for the trailer

Sounds like your drive time, wear and tear on the vehicle and trailer is free which means your not charging anything for overhead. You will be out of business soon if you keep that up.
