We had a customer call us today for an estimate for cutting a hill on his property. The hill is 115' wide and about 15' to 20' tall with the slope. We can't use a mower on this hill and we will have to weedeat it all, and he said that the guy who did it before, it used to take him about an hour or so. The grass is also growing out of control, it is going to be hard on our equipment. Our hourly rate is $30.00 but for a job like this it is going to be way higher and it is also out of our cutting area so the price will be higher because we have no other properties in that area. I am thinking somewhere around $150 to $200. Tell me what you all think.

A push mower and an electric wench.

Just kidding. I have had jobs like that. Honestly, time is going to be the big factor. Look at as if has been manicured BEFORE you showed up then I just double what I would normally charge.

I would use a mowing scythe.

I would charge $75.00. Get it done in an hour and be on the way. Get some good string.
