I've been mowing now for 4 years. I feel I've got a good grasp of the business. I recently purchased a ford 3000 diesel tractor with 6 foot bushhog for personal use. I have since had several inquiries about providing bush hogging. I'm not quite sure what to charge. My current truck/ trailer combo will handle hauling, so I don't need any further equipment. I've seen threads that reference $80 or so. Is this per hour or acre? Most of the terrain is gently rolling hills, nothing too steep. Also, what should I charge as a minimum fee, to cover fuel, transport, maint.. and such?
