How do you price your jobs. I am just getting started and need some good guidelines.

I just finished 3 jobs for relatives. Kinda guinney pigs i guess. I charged them for costs plus an hourly labor of $15 an hour.

Learn about bidding and estimating from Charles VAnder Kooi or Jim Huston of Smith-Huston. I've posted on this before. When you install, your in construction. Forget about per head, times materials and all the other stupid stuff that comes off peoples lips. Learn the right stuff.

And then while you are at it learn about irrigation design and engineering as well. If you don't have a clue about pricing yet, do you have a clue about really desinging, installing and servcing irrigation?

Get educated FIRST. And you won't get it here. This forum is good for tips, solving problems etc. Search this forum and you will find many past posts of value to you.
