Chris, we don't get quite that much.<br>We get about 20.00 stop fee plus 1.25/M seems top be typical.<p>I've bid about 400 properties this year and have seen many competitors bids, both good and no-so-good. None are too far off these prices.

I've got to ask this question to anybody that uses the pricing method described above. I assume the $20.00 or $24.00 service fee or whatever it may be is based on your time and other overhead but what is the square footage price (1.24/1000) based on. I'm considering using this method but I want to fully understand it first. Thanks, Lee.
nlminc,<br>That includes all our renewals, plus new bid requests and multi-site commercials we solicit.<br>I guess why I put this stat in there is because most guys - whether they know it or not - bid properties this way. <br>Why spend and hour figuring what to bid when you can get close in 10 seconds (after measuring the thing)<p>Lee,<br>I think that pricing system is a *very* general place to start. Then factor in edging/trim requirements, proximity of site, growth habits of lawn, add-on work possibilities and customer "demandingness"/attitude and other factors and adjust from there.<br>
