having some problems with this lawn, they have a dog, the last picture from the dog i think....

what is going wrong, and how do i fix it. I was thinking about dethatching problem areas and aerating and overseeding the whole lawn.

It looks like a little bit of brown patch and/or dog piss. It also looks as if the lawn is always wet. A couple of those pics look like a lawn i have where it is always wet. I would dethatch, make sure it drains well and then over seed. Good luck!

Yea i agree, the last picture is definetly from a dog, the rest of them look to large of an area for a dog to ruin, looks like it gets a lot of water, too much water.

if there are moles anywhere around the yard, then you have grubs. but, if no moles then it's brown patch.
