hey guys i was wondering if you could help me out

i bought my truck about 2 month ago and it has been having some problems. i have fixed most of them but theres still one problem

when i have my truck in neutral and coasting to like a red light or something my truck will die on me. it has been very dangerous when this has happen. sometimes when it dies it will backfire. i think it might be the plugs but am not totally sure.

    oh yeah it is a v8 5.0L w/ 4speed manual transmission

Maybe the idle is turned down to low.
Or you may have a vaume leak.
Or the timing may be off.

I highly doubt that the plugs would cause that. It would run bad and get crappy mpg.
