Wonder if anyone has had this problem before...I have a 60 inch Exmark Lazer, a couple of weeks ago it acted up starting i was having to wiggle the pto switch and it would finally start, the keyed switch feels odd like it might be messed up too!! all this at once, do i need to replace switches, even though the pto switch works??? i still use it by crossing the hots on the engine but that is not professional looking when you get to a property!!!

I dont guess one of the safety switches could be going bad. It might be good to replace the switches if they are loose, i just replaced my PTO and my ignition, but i had problems with my PTO not engaging after cutting a yard.

Sounds like the pto switch is bad. Go ahead and replace the pto switch and see what happens.
